“...The Gargantuan features the line: '...grease the wheels of war' and Dark Forces brandishes the phrase: 'The meek shall inherit our steel in their guts.' The subject matter suits the album's sound, which is characterized by super-heavy bass lines that serve as the anchor and rudder of each song. Storm of Swords is full of big, rumbling rhythms and a sense of things shaking into place, tumbling and clattering, but just happening to come out in the right shape.”

“...Some may not take a listen to this type of bands but I somehow love the hybrid of their influences, better this than any of the unreadable band logos with cookie monster vocals in it. Though at times, I wish that they could mould that certain riff into a more memorable pattern. The band gel well together, where moments of Jazz and dissonant riffs clashes with each other fighting for a room, constantly paving a steady weight and groove, plus sample the lyric from the track Fury Shall Know The Warmth Of Your Blood:
'What is this wicked calling? • Wind spirits’ baleful whine • Gale now whipping, howling • What terror grips the spine? • A force hurls earth skyward • Flesh fed mill begins to grind'
Sounds like a really serious contender for a HP Lovecraft novella.”

We'd like to say our trip to Austin was an unqualified sucess but...well, maybe this will help to explain things:
"...most of Enormicon’s set was missed, although I will say that I’m not sure why the band played for an hour when the curfew was drawing closer and closer and Divine Eve had yet to play. In any case, once Divine Eve finally hit the stage, most of the crowd had thinned out, and at 1:30, it was looking like the band was only going to play for a half-hour..."
-Jacob Holmes, San Antonio Heavy Metal Examiner
"Missed" our set.
I suppose it could happen. Maybe you went to take a shit, and the interdimensional portal that exists in the toilet sucked you out of existence for the duration of our set. Or rocks falling out of the sky rendered you unconscious. For exactly 45 minutes.
You were there to review the SHOW, gave all the other bands stellar reviews, but "missed" the band who was main support for the headliner?
An uncanny coincidence to be sure.
You may have a legitimate excuse. If not, you're acting more like a stuck-up little sorority bitch than a journalist.
For the record, we did not intentionally eat into Divine Eve's set. Before we went on we were told 45 minutes and tried to stick to that. Usually you can depend on the sound guy to give you a heads up about time but he wasn't keeping track.
In the future, get your facts straight before you start talking shit.
I don't begrudge the good reviews the other bands got. Everybody put in a good performance and were professional and supportive of each other as is always the case. I especially enjoyed Steel Bearing Hand's brand of Motorhead tainted Crust. Got to rock out with metal veterans, Divine Eve. Thanks for brangin' us along!
And we did gain some new fans and sold some merch. Thankful for that for sure.
Ok. Rant over.Certain people needed to be called out on their bullshit. Nothin' but rainbows 'n' chocolate cake in the News section from now on.
The full review of the show can be read here.
